Wolsfeld Cabin is an original 1857 pioneer building, formerly located on the Wolsfeld Family farm in Medina. The Wolsfeld property is now a nature study preserve cared for by the Friends of Wolsfeld Woods. Wolsfeld Woods is a rare remnant of the original Big Woods as experienced by the first Europeans to come to western Hennepin County. See the history of the Wolsfeld family's tenure on this property at the Friends of Wolsfeld Woods website. The cabin is now located on the Medina City town hall property and may be visited during city working hours.
